I met Gary Rimes last Dec 2004, a fellow filipino and a friend of my husband...I forgot the exact date when they (Wolf & Rimes) went to my Uncle's house to pick me up. We, then went to Oceanside. Rimes invited us (Wolf & I) to watch movie with him. I decline the invitation bcoz I miss talking to Wolf at that time and He just got back from training so we decided to just chill in his truck.
2nd time I met Rimes and I guess the last, was when we went up to Frisco last Dec 10...it was late at night when we (Wolf & I) pick him up in Santa Maria, CA. He was dropped off by his filipino friend too.
When we got to Frisco, we headed to find a hotel to stay in and Wolf had seen a weighing sumthing for his truck so he went there as I wait for him in our room. At that time, Rimes was already with his friends or his girlfriend...I'm not sure coz we're just gonna meet him the next day anyway.
Then Dec. 12, lunch time...we all started cruising the freeway to headed back to Fallbrook where I stay. It was a 9-hour travel so Rimes was the one to drive us in the middle of the trip. He routed on the Malibu side of CA, there I saw lots of very huge mansions and lots of acres, with ofcourse, their so-called exclusive gate! My hubby on the other hand, ofcourse is sleeping, tired of checking out Alcatraz...his fave tourist attraction.
Then last April 01, 2005...I saw in the internet, news about a marine who died in Al Anbar, with a specific batallion and regiment..in which I know a few of them.
After 5 days, April 05, 2005...from Department of Defense Press Release on Casualties, rimes died last April 01 as a result of hostile action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.
I condole the loss of one of the brave USMC who was called for duty. Let's all pray for the US troops and other troops that are helping other countries to have freedom and to spread the goodness of humanity in helping hands.
How many tragedies do we have to encounter for us to be shaken and believe in God that He is God. Let's all repent and claim God's love for us. For He died for our sins and for us to have an everlasting life that whosoever believes in Him will not perish.
